Junior Andrew Goodpaster paced the Indians with 30 points to lead an emotional Carlisle Indian team past the Middletown Christian Eagles.  Carlisle cruised to the win after a 26-2 run in the third quarter.  The Indians move to 2-0 on the season after also beating Xenia Christian in their opener last Friday night.

The highlights of the game started before it was even started.  The folks at Middletown Christian did a special tribute for Carlisle football player Zack Richards.  Richards is battling leukemia and is currently at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.  There was a Skype call pre-game with Richards and the team.  The Eagles also wore special warm ups with Richards number "66".  It was an unbelievable act of kindness and generosity by the Eagle crew.  Very proud of my old high school!!
